Our fully furnished Natural Gait Log Cabins are perched high on a ridgetop overlooking the Mississippi River. Each Log Cabin sleeps up to ten.
The kitchens are all up to date and complete. Towels and bedding are provided. Wood stoves, fire rings with wood provided, outdoor grill and spectacular views are just a couple of the amenities.
Banquet facilities and catering are brought to you by our innovative chef with 25 years of experience to your personally designed meals. We can serve up to 50 people.
Birding, hiking, fishing, leisurely strolls alongside wildflower fields, star gazing, observing wildlife.
Visit historic Mississippi River villages, Yellow River State Forest, Effigy Mounds National Monument and more!

THE RED OAKS
Off of the kitchen is a private bedroom with a full sized bed and a twin bunk over the full. Upstairs in the loft is a full bed and 3 twin beds.
The bathroom has a shower, sink and toilet.
THE TURKEY ROOST
A full bed is located next to the kitchen and the bathroom has a hower, toilet, and sink.
Upstairs in the loft there is a full bed and three twin beds.
THE ION INN
The Ion Inn is a fully-furnished cottage that sleeps up to twelve. It hosts a deck with a beautiful view. An easy walk away from the Yellow River. (SORRY NO PETS ALLOWED AT THE ION INN)
THE GRANDVIEW
The awesome view of the yellow river from this cabin is spectacular! The living room, which runs right into the kitchen, has a couch
that folds out into a bed. This cabin has a nice sized bathroom with a shower, toilet and sink. The loft floor covers the entire cabin. There are 4 twin beds and one full bed.
THE LODGE
The
dining room comfortably seats 40, but we can accommodate larger reservations in the arena. The lodge is air-conditioned for those steamy days of summer and heated by a wood stove
for winter-time get togethers.
It's comfortable anytime of year!

We offer 6 private rooms which are often used for retreats, weddings, or if you are just needing a room.
